Classes, Workshops and Events:

East Hamilton Church offers development, healing, meditation and related classes and workshops. These sessions foster a better understanding of Spiritualism and teach skills that will assist individuals with personal development and help them further their gifts as healers and mediums.

In addition the Church offers special events. All are welcome to attend.




MEDIUMSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
 With: Rev's Jean and Richard Toward
Date: Sunday March 7th, 2010
Time: 1:30pm - 4:30pm
Fee: $40.00

This workshop offers you a chance to stretch your skills and will help you to develop
more well rounded mediumship abilities.

Topics covered will include:
  • Meditations for developing mediumistic abilities
  • Guidance for enhancing your clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient gifts
  • Understanding the difference between psychic and mediumistic messages
  • Opening and closing messages
  • Offering evidential information


    • Rev’s Jean and Richard Toward have been serving in churches and communities in Canada, the US and abroad for over 20 years. They have extensive experience in running development circles, workshops and classes on mediumship, meditation, spiritual development and other metaphysical topics. Rev. Jean Toward is the former pastor of the Guiding Star Church.



    SPRING BRUNCH
     Date: Sunday – April 18, 2010
    Time: 12:30 pm
    Tickets: $5.00

    Join us for our annual Spring time Brunch. Our menu includes:
    Roast beef and gravy, potatoes with dill and butter, garden salad,
    Greek salad, coleslaw, broccoli and cauliflower casserole, bread and rolls,
    an assortment of delicious desserts, coffee and tea.

    This fellowship event will also include a draw for a door prize
    and a raffle.



    MEDIUMSHIP DEVELOPMENT CIRCLE
    With: Rev. Leonard Spicer
    March: Sunday March 14th, 2010
    April: Sunday April 25th, 2010
    May: Sunday May 9th, 2010
    Time: 1:30pm - 2:30pm
    Fee: $10.00 per afternoon

    This development circle will include practical instruction and a guided meditation.
    It will help students better build on their previous training and improve the content
    and accuracy of their messages and the quality of their healings.

    We will be offering this circle once per month from late winter and into the spring
    in order to complement our workshops and other programs so that students
    can continue to practice and build on the skills and training offered in other sessions.



    FILM NIGHT AND EVENING SERVICE
     When: Second Tuesday of Each Month
    With: Rev. Leonard Spicer
    Film: 7:00pm
    Service: 7:30pm

    Come and enjoy a film (spiritual,Spiritualist...) on a large screen.
    The evening will also include a talk based on the film
    healing and messages. The service will be
    followed by a fellowship hour.



    MEDITATION CIRCLE
    First Sunday of the Month
    Time: 1:30pm - 2:30pm

    Join us for our monthly meditation circle. The sessions takes place after the
    fellowship gathering and the group is open to all levels.
    The circle runs from September to June each year.
